Overview

The Trading Pit is a Liechtenstein firm, started in 2022, that runs CFD, futures and stocks challenges side by side. CFDs cover forex, indices, commodities, crypto and shares on MT5 or cTrader; futures run on Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic and others. It suits traders who want one firm for both CFDs and futures, and who'll check which drawdown rule their account size gets.

How the evaluation works

  • CFDs Prime 1-Phase: a 10% target with a 3% daily and 6% overall limit.

  • CFDs Prime 2-Phase: 10% then 5%. Accounts up to 20k have a 5% daily and 10% overall limit; 50k and 100k drop to 4% and 8%.

  • CFDs Instant: no target. 3% daily and 6% overall, trailing your highest balance until it reaches the starting balance.

  • Futures Prime: a single phase with a 6% target, an end-of-day trailing drawdown and a 30-day window.

The overall limit is static on most Prime accounts. The 1-Phase 100k and 200k and the 2-Phase 100k trail the end-of-day balance until it reaches the starting balance, then stop. CFD challenges have no time limit, but 21 days without trading closes the account.

Rules worth knowing

News trading is fine on CFD accounts up to 50k and banned on the 100k and 200k. You need three profitable days of at least 0.5% to pass a Prime challenge. Copy trading only works between your own accounts. On Instant you can't hold metals, energies, soft commodities or crypto over the weekend, and a consistency rule applies. Futures accounts have a daily pause rather than a daily breach.

Getting paid

The split is 80% across the board. On CFD Prime your first reward comes 14 days after you get the earning account, then every 14 days. Futures rewards can be requested every 7 days after five profitable days, with a cap per request. Payouts go by bank wire or crypto.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

The Trading Pit gets a mixed reception. Its Trustpilot page has around 1,000 reviews, but by August 2026 Trustpilot had suspended the rating while it looked into fake or manipulated reviews, so there is no current score to quote. Before that, review sites tracking the page reported it sliding from the low 4s in early 2026 to about 3.6 by May. On Prop Firm Match it scores 3.9 from 36 verified traders, and 3.6 from 28 user reviews on PropFirmPickr. Reviewers praise fast payouts and the firm's broker background; critics point to strict rule enforcement and support.

What traders like

  • Quick payout approvals. Many Trustpilot, Myfxbook and Prop Firm Match reviewers say payout requests were approved within hours.

  • Trading conditions. Several mention low spreads, little slippage and stable platforms.

  • A credible background. Some like that a founder owns the broker Tickmill and that the firm has been open about its structure.

  • The scaling plan. Reddit reviewers like the route to large simulated balances, though they note lot limits change at each level.

Common complaints

  • Rule enforcement. Most one star reviews involve breaches traders dispute, such as a tight daily loss limit, the minimum trade duration or a profit rule applied at payout time.

  • Rejected payouts. A few reviewers say payouts were refused quickly on vague grounds after earlier ones went through.

  • Price and support. Some call it one of the more expensive firms and say support is slow once there is a problem.

  • Rule changes. Futures traders say a switch to trailing drawdown made passing harder, though the firm later brought back end of day drawdown.

Recently

  • August 2026: a review site reported Trustpilot had suspended the firm's rating after flagging fake or manipulated reviews.

  • August 2026: a sentiment roundup across X, Reddit and Trustpilot rated opinion as mixed, with critical reviews mostly about support. New Myfxbook reviews that month were positive.
