Overview

Ment Funding has been running since 2021 and is known for one thing: a single-phase forex evaluation with no time limit and a drawdown that doesn't trail. It has since added CME futures and an S&P 100 stocks program. It suits forex traders who want to pass at their own pace without a second phase or a consistency rule.

How the evaluation works

  • Forex 1-Step: a 10% target, 5% daily loss and 6% max loss. The max loss is static, and there's no time limit and no minimum days.

  • Futures 1-Step: a 10% target, 3% daily and 6% static max loss, with 90 days to pass and a 33% consistency rule.

  • Equities Static: a 15% target, 2% daily and 6% static max loss.

  • Equities Trailing: a 10% target, 3% daily and a 6% max loss that trails your closed balance until you're up 6%.

On every program, the max loss locks at your starting balance after your first withdrawal.

Rules worth knowing

On forex you can't open a trade within three minutes either side of a news release, but holding through it is fine. EAs, scalping and hedging inside one account are allowed. Forex positions close by 3:45 PM EST on Friday unless you bought the weekend add-on, and futures can't be held over the weekend at all. Any account with no trade for 30 days is breached. Stocks are limited to the cash session, with a one-minute minimum hold and a 3% daily profit cap.

Getting paid

Forex and futures pay 75% by default, or 90% with an add-on. Your first forex withdrawal can be requested any time, then every 30 days. Stocks pay 80% every 14 days. Fees aren't refunded.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

Ment Funding has a small, very positive review base: 4.9 on Trustpilot from about 230 reviews, around nine in ten of them five stars. That is a modest number for a firm running since 2021, and review sites note there is little independent discussion beyond Trustpilot. We found no detailed negative reviews in what we collected, so the complaints below come mainly from review sites and older forum threads.

What traders like

  • Payouts that arrive. Many Trustpilot reviewers describe receiving payouts, some on the same day and some above $6,000, and the firm says it has never denied an approved payout.

  • One step, no time limit. Swing and position traders like having a single 10% target with no deadline and no minimum days.

  • Simple rules. Reviewers mention no consistency rule on most accounts and a static drawdown. Some say they were paid profits even after a hard breach, which the firm's policy allows.

  • A founder people know. Several reviewers are students of the CEO's MentFX mentorship and trust the firm for that reason.

Common complaints

  • Tight drawdown. Review sites and some forum posts say a 6% loss limit against a 10% target is hard for newer traders.

  • Support runs through Discord. There is no phone or live chat, and some older reviews describe slow replies, though recent ones praise named support staff.

  • Limits on payouts and holding. A few reviewers say payouts can be limited to one a month, and older Reddit threads mention paying extra to hold over weekends.

  • Thin track record. One review site rates trader sentiment a middling three out of five because the review base is small, not because of complaints.

Recently

  • July to September 2026: Trustpilot reviews from the last few weeks mention first payouts and prizes from the firm's July anniversary competition. In August one review site rated overall sentiment three out of five. Nothing negative stands out in the last 90 days.
