Overview
Legends Trading is a futures prop firm based in Calabasas, California, started by people with a futures brokerage background. It sells three ways in, from a monthly evaluation to a one-time fee that skips the test. It suits day traders who want room to recover from a bad day, since none of the plans has a daily loss limit.
How the evaluation works
Apprentice (25K to 150K): a monthly subscription with a 6% target and an end-of-day trailing drawdown of $1,500 to $4,000. Four trading days minimum, a 30% consistency rule, and an activation fee of $99 to $199 when you pass.
Elite (25K to 150K): a one-time fee, mostly a 6% target, and an end-of-day trailing drawdown of $1,250 to $4,500. The consistency rule is looser at 40%, and there's no activation fee.
Straight to Master (25K to 150K): a one-time fee that puts you on a funded account straight away. You need to hit a profit goal and trade 10 days before the first payout, with a 30% consistency rule.
Rules worth knowing
The consistency rule is the one to watch. On most plans no single day can be more than 30% of your profit, and if you go over, the firm adjusts the excess rather than closing the account. News trading is allowed. Check the help centre for the overnight and automation rules before you trade, as the plan pages don't spell them out.
Getting paid
You keep 90% of your profit, and you can ask for a payout up to twice a month once the consistency rule is met. After the second payout the firm offers a move to a live funded account on the same split. Payouts go out by PayPal, Wise or crypto.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Legends Trading gets a middling verdict: 3.7 on Trustpilot from about 200 reviews, up from around 3.5 earlier in 2026 as the review count grew. Reviewers split into two camps. One likes the cheap entry, the lack of a daily loss limit and payouts that arrive. The other says accounts were closed, payouts stalled or rules were changed on accounts they already held. Reddit has only a handful of threads.
What traders like
Price and rules. Many reviewers say the evaluations are cheap and the rules are easy to live with, pointing to the end-of-day drawdown and no daily loss limit.
Payouts that come through. A steady group on Trustpilot and SmartPropFirm report reliable, quick payouts at a 90/10 split.
Live chat. Support through chat gets regular praise for being around the clock and responsive.
Common complaints
Rule changes on existing accounts. Several reviewers say the firm changed terms mid-cycle. The examples given are a per-account payout cap cut from $17,700 to $4,000 and the live account allocation reduced from five to one.
Accounts closed near payout. Some say funded accounts were removed or closed without a clear reason, sometimes right after paying for them.
Hard-to-reach profits. A few funded traders say the buffer, caps and consistency rules meant they could never withdraw much of what they made, and some report payout requests stuck for three weeks or more.
Payment checks at payout time. One Reddit poster says a card problem was raised only once they reached a payout.
Recently
August 2026: a review roundup put sentiment at a mixed three out of five, and another site logged payout delays of three weeks or more and the account allocation change. A non-refundable subscription renewal also drew a complaint, which the firm answered on Trustpilot.
September 2026: the Trustpilot count passed 200 and the score edged up to about 3.7.
