Overview

Hantec Trader is the prop trading arm of the Hantec group, run from Mauritius and backed by Hantec Markets. It sells forex evaluations on MetaTrader 5 that also cover gold, silver, indices, commodities and crypto. It suits traders who want a cheap entry and no deadline.

How the evaluation works

  • Express (1 step): a 10% target, a 5% daily loss limit and a 6% overall loss. The overall limit trails your closed balance until you're 6% up, then locks at the starting balance. No minimum days.

  • Enhanced (2 step): 10% then 5%, with a 5% daily and 10% overall loss on a static floor. You need three profitable days of at least 0.5% in each step.

  • EnhancedX (2 step): 8% then 4%, with a 4% daily and 8% static overall loss and a 35% consistency cap on your best day.

  • Endurance (3 step): 6% in each of three stages, a 4% daily and 8% static overall loss, and at least three trading days per stage.

Rules worth knowing

  • None of the challenges has a time limit.

  • News is open during challenges. On funded accounts you can't open or close trades within three minutes of a red-folder event.

  • Weekend holding is allowed.

  • Leverage depends on the asset: 1:50 on forex, 1:10 on bullion, 1:15 on indices and commodities, 1:1 on crypto.

  • Copying is allowed only between your own accounts, up to $400K combined.

  • The US, Australia, Germany and about 30 other countries are excluded.

Getting paid

The base split is 80%, and an add-on lifts it to 95%. Your first reward comes 14 days after your first funded trade, then every 14 days, or weekly with another add-on. The minimum request is $20. Requests not approved within 24 business hours are doubled, up to $1,000. Methods include bank wire, crypto and PayPal.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

Hantec Trader, the prop arm of broker Hantec Markets, scores 4.3 on Trustpilot from about 800 reviews and 4.0 on Prop Firm Match from about 50. Most reviewers are happy with payout speed and support. A smaller but steady group say payouts were refused on Instant Funding accounts or that funded accounts were closed over rules they did not expect. Independent discussion outside the review sites is thin, which some Reddit posters see as a reason for caution.

What traders like

  • Quick payouts. Many Trustpilot and Prop Firm Match reviewers say withdrawals were processed within a day or two, and some say they were paid soon after passing.

  • Helpful support. Support staff on Discord and chat get frequent praise by name.

  • Broker backing. Several reviewers and review sites like that the firm sits inside an established, regulated broker group.

  • Conditions. Some traders mention tight spreads and say the rules became easier after the firm relaxed its margin rule and added a version of its account with a static loss limit.

Common complaints

  • Refused payouts on Instant24. Several reviewers say payouts on the instant account were denied for overleveraging or scalping, based on a few trades out of many.

  • Late breach findings. Some traders say a breach from an early phase was only flagged after they had passed the whole challenge, and they received a refund instead of a funded account.

  • Closures over copy trading. A few Forex Peace Army posts describe large funded accounts closed because a relative traded with the firm too, and second payouts being delayed.

  • Little track record. Reddit posters note there is not much independent discussion yet.

Recently

  • August 2026: a review aggregator put sentiment across X, Reddit and Trustpilot at a middling three out of five, mostly because of thin data.

  • August to September 2026: new Prop Firm Match, Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army reviews include disputes over denied Instant24 payouts and copy-trading bans, alongside steady positive reviews about payout speed.

Where this comes from

  • Trustpilot: the firm's main review page.

  • Prop Firm Match: verified-trader reviews on a prop firm comparison site.

  • Forex Peace Army: the Hantec Markets page, which also carries Hantec Trader complaints.

  • Reddit: an r/PropfirmsForum thread asking whether the firm is legit.
