Overview

FundedSquad is a Dubai-based forex prop firm with a long menu: two one-step evaluations, two two-step evaluations and four flavours of instant account. Its selling points are low targets, static drawdown and a free retry on every evaluation. It suits traders who want small targets.

How the evaluation works

  • 1 Step: an 8% target with a 3% daily and 7% overall limit on a static floor. From $89 for 5k to $1,299 for 200k.

  • 1 Step Pro: a 10% target with a 3% daily and 10% overall limit, and 3 minimum trading days. Once funded, the overall limit drops to 6%. From $129.

  • 2 Step Fast: 6% in each phase, with a 4% daily and 8% overall limit. From $79.

  • 2 Step Squad: 8% then 6%, with a 5% daily and 12% overall limit. Same prices as 2 Step Fast.

  • Instant accounts (Lite, Pro, Flex, Rapid): no evaluation, from $69 for 2.5k. Instant Lite uses a trailing drawdown and Instant Pro pays 70%.

Rules worth knowing

  • No time limit on any program.

  • On 1 Step Pro, news trading and weekend holding are allowed during the evaluation but banned on the funded account.

  • EAs are allowed on every program.

  • Each eligible evaluation comes with one free retry at the same size if you fail.

  • Services aren't offered to US residents or sanctioned countries.

Getting paid

The evaluations advertise a reward split of up to 100%, and the fee is refundable. Reward cycles depend on the program: on demand for 1 Step, daily for 1 Step Pro and weekly on the two-step plans. FundedSquad says reward requests are usually processed within 12 hours. Payout methods aren't listed on the public pages.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

FundedSquad's reviews are sharply split. Trustpilot has a few hundred reviews, but we could not read a current score from Trustpilot itself, and the figures quoted by other sites disagree: one review site put it at 3.5 in mid-2026, while older snapshots showed 4 stars or higher. Trustpilot also says it has removed a number of fake reviews from the page. Positive reviews praise fast payouts and support. Negative ones, on Trustpilot, Reddit and Forex Peace Army, describe payouts refused under rules the trader did not expect.

What traders like

  • Fast payouts on small amounts. Several reviewers say withdrawals were processed within a day, and some point to the firm's 12-hour payout promise.

  • Support. Positive reviews often mention quick, helpful replies.

  • Easy targets and few restrictions. Some like the 6% targets on the two-step program and the freedom to hold over weekends and trade news.

Common complaints

  • Larger payouts refused. Several reviewers say payouts of a few thousand dollars were rejected over a Martingale rule, an IP or location check, or alleged VPN use, and some say small payouts go through while big ones do not.

  • Payouts smaller than expected. A few say the amount received was well below their stated profit split.

  • Unclear breach rules. Some say accounts were breached under rules such as a floating loss limit or a minimum trade duration that they did not know applied.

  • Slow dispute handling. A widely shared Reddit thread from March 2026 says a payout took six days to review and was then refused.

Recently

  • August 2026: a long Forex Peace Army post explains how a two-minute minimum trade rule can cancel a payout and send the account back to its starting balance.

  • No other dated trader reviews from the last 90 days turned up.

Where this comes from

  • Trustpilot: the firm's main review page, with both praise and payout complaints.

  • Forex Peace Army: trader write-ups on the firm's rules.

  • Prop Firm Match: unlisted firm page with community experiences.

  • Reddit: a March 2026 r/PropFirmTester thread about a refused payout.
