Overview
Libertex is a CFD broker from the Libertex Group, which dates back to 1997, and it suits beginners who like a clean app but want MetaTrader on hand too. In Europe it runs through Indication Investments Ltd, a Cyprus investment firm regulated by CySEC under licence 164/12. Retail clients get negative balance protection and Investor Compensation Fund cover. The libertex.org site serves clients outside the EU through Forex Club International, with leverage up to 1:1000, so check which one you're signing up with.
Accounts and costs
You need €100 for the first deposit. Pricing is mostly commission rather than spread: commission starts at 0.0% depending on the asset, spreads are variable, and there are overnight swaps. EU retail leverage tops out at 1:30 on major pairs, 1:10 on most commodities, 1:5 on stocks and ETFs. There's also an Invest account for buying real stocks with no commission, only the market spread. Watch the €10 monthly inactivity fee once an account sits idle for 180 days.
Platforms and markets
You can trade on the Libertex web and mobile platform, MT4 or MT5, and a free demo comes with €50,000 in virtual money. There are more than 1,000 CFDs on forex, stocks, crypto, metals, oil and gas, agricultural commodities, indices, ETFs, bonds and options.
Money in and out
Deposits are free by card, bank transfer, PayPal, Skrill or Neteller. Withdrawals cost something on most methods: €1 to a card, 0.5% on bank wires with a €2 minimum and €10 cap, and around 1% on e-wallets. The minimum withdrawal is €10.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Libertex has a split reputation that partly follows its two arms: the EU business at libertex.com, regulated in Cyprus, and the international one at libertex.org. Scores on independent sites are low, 1.8 on Reviews.io from 298 reviews and 1.8 on Sitejabber from 18. Its Trustpilot page is active, but the evidence we collected does not show its current score; review sites have quoted figures between 3.8 and 4.3 over the past two years. Forex Peace Army and Myfxbook have pages with mixed reviews and no score in the evidence.
What traders like
The app. Reviewers on Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army often say the Libertex app is one of the easiest they have used, and some prefer it to MetaTrader.
The demo account. Beginners mention the free demo with no time limit as a good way to learn.
Low costs and real stocks. Some EU clients like commission-free real stock investing alongside CFDs, and one reviewer mentions instant withdrawals.
The EU entity. A Myfxbook reviewer says the German-facing libertex.com is good but would not recommend the international libertex.org.
Common complaints
Withdrawals. The most common pattern on Forex Peace Army, Reddit and complaint sites is withdrawals rejected or delayed, often after a profitable run, with shifting reasons or blame placed on the client's bank. Even a positive reviewer on Forex Peace Army says large withdrawals brought sudden, hard-to-meet document requests.
Pushy account managers. Several complaints, many from Latin America, say a Libertex advisor guided them by phone into high-multiplier trades that lost heavily.
Bonus terms. Some Reddit users describe bonus offers tied to large deposits that left them worse off.
Ownership questions. Older Reddit threads point to Libertex's links with Forex Club and treat that history with suspicion.
Recently
August 2026: WikiFX notes a regulatory warning from Indonesian authorities and a high volume of complaints about withdrawal delays, aggressive account managers and login problems, mostly involving the offshore entity.
July 2026: Trustpilot reviews from July lean positive, praising the demo account, the app and support during registration.
