What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
IC Markets, now trading as IC, is one of the most reviewed forex brokers around. Its main Trustpilot page holds 4.8 from about 56,800 reviews (the figure Compare Forex Brokers recorded on 1 October 2026), while the newer ic.com page has a single review so far. Forex Peace Army and Myfxbook both carry long review threads but no score in the evidence we collected. Praise centres on cost and execution; the complaints that recur are about withdrawals and account holds.
What traders like
Tight spreads and low commissions. The most common reason reviewers give for choosing IC, especially on the raw spread accounts.
Fast, stable execution. Many Myfxbook and Forex Peace Army reviewers describe quick fills and few disconnects on MT4, MT5 and cTrader.
Platform choice. Several like having TradingView alongside MetaTrader and cTrader.
Responsive support. Live chat gets frequent praise for being available and quick.
Common complaints
Slow or blocked withdrawals. Several Forex Peace Army and Reddit posters describe withdrawals delayed for weeks, repeated document requests, or bank wires cancelled in favour of crypto payouts under the return-to-source rule. Some of these threads were later marked resolved.
Accounts frozen on compliance grounds. A few traders say their accounts were suspended after sanctions-related reviews tied to where they live, with funds held while the case dragged on.
Slippage and forced closes. Some reviewers say stops filled badly in fast markets or that positions were closed in ways they dispute.
Support during disputes. Some say replies slowed or tickets were closed without a clear answer once a problem started.
