Overview

FOREX.com is a long-running forex and CFD broker that's now part of StoneX, a publicly listed US group. It suits forex traders who want a choice between spread-only and raw-spread pricing, and it's one of the few big names open to US clients, where it works under NFA rules. Outside the US you trade CFDs, with UK retail leverage capped at 30:1.

Accounts and costs

The Standard Account is spread only, with no commission and EUR/USD from about 1.2 pips. The RAW Spread Account gets spreads from 0.0 on the major pairs and charges $7 per $100k traded on each side of the trade. There are also dedicated MetaTrader accounts. All of these start at $100, though FOREX.com suggests $1,000 to $2,500.

High-volume traders can look at the DMA account, which uses raw prices and a commission of $2 to $6 per lot depending on monthly volume. It trades in full lots only and the broker recommends a $25,000 balance.

Platforms and markets

You get MT4, MT5, TradingView and FOREX.com's own web, desktop and mobile platforms. MT4 offers Expert Advisor hosting and the Standard and Commission accounts can be traded through a REST API. The UK site lists over 6,000 markets, including 84 FX pairs, 21 major indices, thousands of shares and a range of commodities and metals. Futures and stock trading sit in a separate account.

Money in and out

You can fund by bank wire, ACH in the US, debit or credit card, or a local-currency online transfer. FOREX.com doesn't charge deposit fees, although currency conversion applies. On the US site, bank withdrawals are free with a $25,000 per-transaction limit, and card withdrawals are capped at your net deposits from the past six months.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

FOREX.com reviews are mostly positive on the big platforms, with a smaller but persistent thread of withdrawal complaints elsewhere. It holds 4.6 on Trustpilot from about 2,500 reviews. Forex Peace Army, Myfxbook, TradingView and the Better Business Bureau all have pages on the broker, but none of their scores show up in the material we collected.

What traders like

  • Fast support. Many Trustpilot reviewers mention reaching a support agent within seconds on live chat, and some name staff who escalated their case.

  • Platform choice. Reviewers like being able to trade on the broker's own platform, MetaTrader and TradingView from one account.

  • Spreads on major pairs. Several Reddit users put FOREX.com alongside OANDA as cheaper than some larger rivals on forex spreads.

  • Deposits and withdrawals that work. A good share of TradingView and Reddit reviewers say they have moved money in and out for years without trouble.

Common complaints

  • Withdrawals held for review. The most common complaint on Forex Peace Army, Reddit, the BBB and Myfxbook is a withdrawal stuck in a compliance or verification review for weeks, with the trader saying they got little explanation. Some replies on Reddit point out that withdrawing to a bank account that differs from the deposit account often triggers these checks.

  • Accounts closed without warning. Several reviewers on Trustpilot and Myfxbook say their account was restricted or closed with a short notice and no detailed reason.

  • Slippage. A few long-time users say large slippage happens from time to time and that support replies to it with stock answers.

  • Platform logouts. Some TradingView reviewers say the platform logs them out mid-session.

Recently

  • August 2026: a Forex Peace Army reviewer says a withdrawal has sat in account review for a very long time.

  • October 2026: recent Trustpilot reviews keep praising response times from support. The score has held steady through the year.
