Overview
Capital.com is a CFD broker that launched in 2016. It suits retail traders who want a wide market list at low cost without dealing with commissions. In the UK it's Capital Com (UK) Limited, regulated by the FCA, and EU clients go through two CySEC-licensed Cyprus companies. There are also licences with ASIC in Australia, the Securities Commission of The Bahamas and the CMA in the UAE.
Accounts and costs
There's one retail account, plus a professional option if you qualify. The minimum deposit is 20 USD, EUR or GBP, or 50 EUR by wire. Trading is commission free, with EUR/USD spreads from 0.6 pips, and you pay overnight funding on leveraged positions you hold past the cut-off. There are no deposit, withdrawal or inactivity fees, but a 0.7% conversion fee applies on markets priced in a different currency to your account. UK clients can also spread bet. Between 65% and 89% of retail accounts lose money, depending on which entity you're with.
Platforms and markets
Most people use Capital.com's own web platform and app, which has TradingView charts built in and guaranteed stop-losses for a fee. You can also connect MT4, MT5 or TradingView, and there's API access. Markets run to over 5,500 CFDs on shares, forex, indices, commodities, bonds and crypto, though crypto CFDs aren't offered to UK retail clients. Some regions can also buy real stocks and ETFs. A free demo account is available.
Money in and out
You can pay in by card, bank wire, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay, Google Pay and crypto, depending on where you live. Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, and testers report money arriving in about a business day.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Most clients who review Capital.com are happy with it. It holds a 4-star rating on Trustpilot from about 15,100 reviews, and Good Money Guide users rate it 4.8 from about 1,900. Roughly one Trustpilot rating in ten is one-star, according to BrokerChooser, and withdrawals sit at the centre of most of those. Forex Peace Army, Myfxbook and TradingView all carry trader reviews without a score shown in our sources.
What traders like
An easy platform. Trustpilot and TradingView reviewers keep coming back to how clean and simple the web platform and app are, and many value the TradingView connection.
Quick deposits and withdrawals. Plenty of reviewers say money arrived within minutes or the same day, and some long-time clients describe years without problems.
Responsive support. Many five-star reviews name individual support staff who answered fast and fixed problems.
Pricing. Myfxbook reviewers mention reasonable spreads, no deposit or withdrawal fees and no limits on hedging.
Common complaints
Withdrawals declined or delayed. The main theme of low reviews on Reddit, Forex Peace Army and Trustpilot is withdrawals rejected or stuck while support asked for proof of bank account or more documents, sometimes for weeks. Some say small withdrawals went through and a larger one stalled.
Support going quiet. Some reviewers say replies stopped once a withdrawal dispute began.
Doubts about the reviews themselves. A few Reddit users question how many of the glowing Trustpilot reviews are organic, and one Forex Peace Army reviewer claims an account manager asked them to delete a negative review before paying out.
CFD-only. Some Reddit users point out you never own the underlying shares, which surprises newer users.
Recently
July to August 2026: reviewers on Forex Peace Army and third-party roundups keep pointing to withdrawal verification as the recurring complaint, while new Trustpilot reviews stay mostly positive. The Trustpilot count has grown from about 13,700 in January to about 15,100 now with the rating unchanged.
